Well guys, Tara and I did it! We got the invite to be a part of blog shop as "interns" and it was this past weekend. Seriously it was a whirlwind and I can't believe it's over already.

Stalking my stats here on typepad can be a blessing and a curse. Today I saw sooo much traffic coming from Rachel MacDonald's awesome blog- In Spaces Between. I was incredibly flattered to see that she had featured Song & Dance on her Blogs to Bookmark feature. Giant thanks to her and everyone who visited from her blog! It's little thrills like this that make me love the blog community more and more.
Today while searching for some inspiration I stumbled across Jennifer Young's blog, I ART U, and now I am addicted. She's is a photographer based out of California so naturally I am going to instantly be hooked to whatever she shares on her blog. I love the posts of her travels. She seems to take the most beautiful inspiring photos from everyday things and situations and I think that's so cool. It's making me take a closer look around me and getting me jazzed up to start carrying one of my vintage cameras with me more often.

Images Jennifer took on a run in San Luis Obispo (her home)- a stop Steve and I will hopefully be making on my dream vacation in September. More on that later.
Happy Monday friends. After bouncing back and forth between the 20 or so tabs I have open in my web browser and seeing how long the always growing list of blogs I love so much and visit regularly for all sorts of inspiration has grown I've decided I want to start to sharing some of my favorites here with you! A couple girlfriends and I send emails regularly with new blog finds and every time I stumble on a new one it's like finding a little digital gift.
Currently I am addicted to everything about Paper Fashion. Loving the endless posts of little hand painted and glittered illustrations. There's something about a post featuring favorite new bags with painted pictures rather than images from google that makes everything about Paper Fashion so unique and special. I highly recommend checking it out!
I so wish I had the time to paint and make so many amazing little illustrations/drawings/cutouts/ect like Katie does everyday.
