Lately I've felt super uncreative and (aside from my full time job) incredibly unproductive. However I'm finally feeling the little spark that keeps my creative flames alive burning inside of me. I've had all these ideas and brainstorms over the past weeks and I'm itching to get something rolling very soon. Mostly I'm looking forward to playing with my ever growing camera collection, because [1] I haven't in quite some time [2] I've been playing with new shooting techniques and [3] I just bought some rad accessories that I am beyond excited to use that I thought I would share with you here.

1. Rosco Roscolux Swatchbook- an amazing alternative to buying individual gels, especially for what I use them for [which isn't the traditional way]. This [aside from my new lenses] is my prized possession and has proven to be worth the $5 it cost me. Great for experimenting with color in every imaginable way possible.
2. New film for my Polariod cameras from The Impossible Project in Color Shade Cool and Silver Shade UV+
3. and 4. The splurge of my latest photography related purchases. A lensbaby Composer lens and an Edge 80 Optic to go with my new lens. The photos the lens alone produces are just beautiful and unlike what most others can create, but combined with the Edge 80 it acts as a tilt shift lens and the results are just so cool. Above are a couple of my very first shots experimenting with the two. I'm sure there will be many more to follow. I must thank Steve for buying the Composer for me as an early birthday gift [he's the best].
